When You're Generally Feeling Down About Your Life and Yourself

I understand. Some might think I am just an all UP and positive person all the time. Well that's not really true. I have my moments also where I feel down, lonely, forsaken, and frustrated. To one degree or another these feelings can operate in my life and maybe yours too. We can't get down on ourselves when going through these times. Those feelings that are hopefully temporary all ready are doing enough to try to stop happiness and progress in your life. So one thing you don't want to do is add to it by getting down on yourself for it. Try to ride it out and come out of it as quickly as possible. One thing that really helps me is to read the Word of God. That helps me more than anything. And also! Try to not feel sorry for yourself and think that you are the only one going through it. You are NOT alone. Many people may be going through exactly what you're going through. Not that this makes it any better, but it's nice to know you are not along. Now I'm going to pray a little prayer.

Father I lift up everyone who may be down and going through it today. We bind depression and all those bad things. I pray for these people for YOU GOD to help them to do the right thing now Lord and teach then how not to allow an overwhelming amount of these things in their lives. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
